In Dentaworld clinic, prosthetic dental treatments are carried out in teams by the specialist doctor of prosthetics , the specialist doctor of Maxillofacial Surgery, the specialist doctor of Endodontics (root canal therapy),and the specialist doctor of Periodontology (gum diseases).

The use of metal-free Ceramics has been rapidly increasing recently in the construction of prosthetics. The aesthetic appearance, hygienic and durable properties of ceramics are the most important factor in the increase of popularity.

When there is a loss of too much substance in the teeth and the filling cannot be done, the teeth are covered prosthetically. These coatings are called crowns. Today, crowns are made of ceramics and metal-backed porcelain materials.

When the tooth is lost, the teeth in front and behind the missing tooth are reduced appropriately and fixed coatings of 3 teeth are made into a single block structure. This type of prosthesis is also called a bridge. So the 3-tooth function assumes 2-teeth. Crowns and bridges are a type of fixed prosthesis. So they can't be removed and fitted by the patient.

Moving partial dentures are performed when tooth loss is even greater. In this type of prosthesis, both teeth and supporting tissues (gum and bone) are used. This type of prosthesis is popularly known as hook prosthesis. Nowadays, moving prostheses are made without the metal image on the hook, rather than the hook, which is more aesthetic with the studs and other retainer elements.

When all teeth are lost, total dentures are performed. These prosthetics, also called Team prosthetics or palates, sit entirely on the supporting tissues in the mouth. In this type of prosthesis, the front teeth can be porcelain and more aesthetic appearance is provided.
